A Tanguero: Is a Person who regularly visits the Milongas almost every night of the week. Is considered to be an exceptional Leader, one who can easily determine dance floor etiquette. An individual bearing an un-selfish and progressive attitude. A person who is slow to speak and often easily overwhelmed by dance floor interruption. A fresh but moderate individual.

A Tanguera: Is rather an attitude than a person which or who can be referred to as the followers normally found at Most Popular Milongas night after night. She: the Tanguera (Attitude) is the reason why there is a Milonga, a Tanda, or the serendipitous mood which can find no reason why it is so important to be at another and another Milonga almost every night of the week.

A Most KNOW about all Tango Milongas, Tangueros y Tangueras - There's always an extreme mixture of personalities and often one person can emit an equal amount of emotions similar to those exhibited in each Tanda.

The most sincere method is UNDERSTANDING. However if leaning the difference between "Normalcy" and "Ordinary" is something you can afford? You'll be sure to eventually cover hundreds or even thousands of Milongas throughout your life span as a Tanguera or Tanguera without succumbing to the ubiquitous emotional diasporas of each Tango Community where ever you might find the Milonga. Fact: to each discovered "Normal" there is unfortunately in the lingering hind-site an obtuse (excruciating)  "Abnormal" and to every "Ordinary" there is fortunately more often found an "Extra Ordinary". The later would cause the most precious couple to again fall deeply in love. It takes 2-to-Tango, But 3-to-Learn to Dance the Tango.

 
 
Why NewYorkTango.Org?
Actually New York Tango.org was in-part-New York Tango.com except that we represent an organization of Tangueros y Tangueras who are the back bone of everything that's Tango in Nuevo York. Fortunately the name is now the only difference. You Type .Org instead of .Com at the end of www.newyorktango (org) into your browser.
The goals are:

1. To maintain a name and place for the reputable Tangueros y Tangueras of our time.
2. To help develop peace and moratorium amounts the best of Tangos, Milongas and the afficionardos involved with bringing the Tango times to pass whilst we all enjoy it in the present.
3. To Enhance the news worthiness of every Tanguero y Tanguera, from professionals to commons, in public shows and professional theater productions.

This decision has come in the light of a growing variety of community event and listings open to the public. All Milonga event listings will now be approved by predetermined criteria's based on the richness of a truthfully fun time when you're out Tango Dancing in Nuevo York.

The present body of members are made up of individuals who are affiliated with the history of Tango and the evolution of the greater community of Tango dancers in New York State. Foster's T&B™ Dance Network is primarily (An Influence) a community of dancers, dance instructors, professional performers, dance choreographers, and individuals who dance or associate with the business of social dancing.  We often restrict our dance community reports to about ten of the top New York city dance schools and dance locations.

What drives us
We dance for fun only in public, Simi-private and occasionally as a private chill-club*. Anyone interested in joining with us and learning to dance apart from a regular 30-minutes of FREE dance lessons held at city-wide locations are given a list of locations, dance schools and Instructors to choose from.
